Eaton Earth Hour

The Eaton Smart, Hong Kong has been on a journey towards sustainability since 2008 and has been taking active steps to reduce its operational footprint for over 2 years. To date the hotel currently holds an EarthCheck Benchmark Certificate in recognition of its commitment to sustainable tourism.

Over the past year the hotel has implemented a range of initiatives in the areas of energy, water and waste. Each year the hotel conducts benchmarking against best practice industry guidelines to ensure year on year improvement. The hotel also conducts sustainability training for all staff to in order to develop a team of service driven and passionate environmental ambassadors.

We acknowledge our hotel has an impact on the environment and are proud to be taking active steps to reduce this risk. Sustainability in our minds is a life long journey with each new initiative presenting many more rewarding benefits and challenges.
