Yagura’s first-ever Seafood Sunday Brunch is ready to go


(Hong Kong – June 2009) Japan is an island nation which comprises over 3,000 islands, with the four largest islands: Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku, together accounting for 97% of Japan’s land area. Because of this unique geographical location, there is an abundance of high quality seafood in Japan, that’s also the reason why sashimi is one of their most popular dishes.

Takayuki Nagano, Head Chef of Yagura, whose grandfather was a fisherman in Japan, knows everything about seafood, and so harnessing the knowledge passed from generation to generation, Chef Nagano has the instinct and talent to choose the best seafood for his customers.

Starting from 28 June 2009 (Sunday), Chef Nagano launches the brand new Seafood Sunday Brunch at Yagura and at only HK$350# per person, customers can enjoy an array of the freshest seafood plus free flow of Sapporo and Yagura’s own label sake – The Hidden Oasis.

Apart from enjoying various seafood starters, grilled and fried items, salad and cold dishes, customers can also try out the signature Creative Sushi Rolls created by Chef Nagano, which are unique to Yagura. In addition customers can choose one main course and dessert. What’s more? Yagura will give out complimentary sashimi and sushi to each customer as well.

Prawn Croquette / Ebi Fry / Takoyaki

Cold Items (to be served on buffet table)
Oyster Ponzu Sauce / Steam Prawn with Mustard Miso Sauce
Salad – Tobiko Salad / Seaweed Salad / Tsubugai Salad

Main Course (each guest can choose one)
A. Salmon Steak
B. Eel Fried Rice
C. Seafoods Kakiage Udon or Soba Noodle

Dessert (each guest can order one)
Green Tea Ice Cream / Grape Sorbet, etc.

*Each guest will be entitled to the following complimentary items.
Sashimi (2 slice x 5 kinds of sashimi per person).
