Yagura Cooking Game
Awarded the Silver Communicator Award 2009 (November 2009) - Committed to recognising the pursuit of excellence in the Japanese real Izakaya culture, Yagura of Eaton Hotel Hong Kong has been delighting the palates of discerning diners since its grand opening in 2008. Riding on the popularity of many cooking games the Hotel has launched a viral marketing campaign in the format of a Facebook application, developed by ME (Media Explorer Limited) to promote the newly opened Yagura as the newest hotspot for the very best Japanese cuisine in town. This fun and rewarding Game has won “The Award of Distinction” in the category of “Game and Application” at The Communicator Awards in 2009. This interactive experience brims with culinary fun and tasty gameplay by creating a series of mini games for players to master the cooking skills of Yagura’s team of culinary experts. “We are proud to be the first hotel restaurant in Hong Kong to have launched a customised game in an online platform. The award is a reflection of the uniquely interactive dining experience offered by the restaurant.
